Behave Little Piggy

I decided to introduce the bride of our little piggy in a couples portrait. I found those plastic shackles from the Finnish red cross used stuff store Kontti last Halloween. I immediately knew that I could use those in some image and they were only couple of euros. Worked here like a charm. There is no room for the softbox overhead in our living room so I just reflected the flash from the ceiling. Pretty broad light but I had to settle for that.

Pete & Larry

Something like this can happen when local camera club people and one Ford Capri owner goes to the (quite) empty parking garage in a Sunday morning. Lauri and me did some shooting and Merja was assisting us. First we did some light painting with speedlites and Lauri photographed Ford Capri from several angles. When it was my turn I had an idea about two 70’s cops. Idea changed on the fly and we decided to be robbers instead. Role of a bad guy is more interesting anyway. We did two setups with this theme including some more light painting for the post processing. At the end we build one more setup for the owner’s portrait and it was time to pack things up.

Eliminator

We went to “ruska-ajot” and I took some photos from old cars. I thought that I could use those at the background of some shoots. This Ford got my attention and I thought that it could be a picture of it’s own. It’s photographed pretty much from the same angle as the car is in ZZ Top Eliminator cover. I just started playing with it and some old photos and got this night scene. Nice little excercise to get photoshop editing up to speed after the summer.
